We ship Monday through Thursday for arrival the next day.
We are always interested in buying native reptiles from overseas, as well as any captive-bred species. We are especially interested in new reliable reptile exporters in South Africa, South America, Nepal and Turkey. If you deal in any of these areas and your supplier is looking for a new big importer in the USA please provide them with our fax number or email.

CAL ZOO SHIPS NATION-WIDE: Year round, Winter,
Spring, Summer & Fall. Delivered over night, arrive following
morning to your pet shop door. SHIP DAYS We ship Monday through Thursday
for arrival the next day.
MINIMUM ORDER
Animals, $150 plus freight (see below). Dry goods minimum, if
shipped separate, $25 plus UPS Ground rates & $7.50 COD fee if
applicable.

HEALTH CERTIFICATE if your State requires a health
certificate to bring in
reptiles please let us know. There is $15 charge for the certificate.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA STORES-FREE FREIGHT DURING SPRING/FALL/WINTER
Cooler months, (reptile order only). During summer WARM/HOT MONTHS
FREIGHT will be $10 a box, sent overnight to Zip Codes 90000- 93401
only up to 10lbs, over this $2 a lb additional. Plus COD Fee $7.50
and box charge.
NORTHERN/CENTRAL CALIFORNIA, RENO & LAS VEGAS STORES-LOWER
FREIGHT COSTS Freight cost is only $15 for regular box (up to 10
lbs), $20 for large box (up to 15 lbs). $2 per pound surcharge after
these limits.
DOOR-TO-DOOR FREIGHT RATES All States (except California
& above) delivered to your door. Reg box (15" X 11"
X 11") $50 freight (up to 10 lbs) $2 per pound over 10lbs.
Most orders fit in regular box & are under 10 lb. Lg box
(31" x 15" x 9") $65 (up to 24 lbs) $2 per lb over
24 lbs. 2 large boxes strapped $110.
BOX CHARGE & MISC INFO Reptile boxes are Styrofoam
inner lined, Regular box $7 and large box $10 per box. Includes
heat/cold pack if required. Every animal inner package will be labeled
with common name and very professionally packaged. Box charge has
increased due to fuel cost increases.
TERMS Visa, MasterCard, American Express; COD cashier
check/money order accepted on new accounts. Company check established
accounts only. Returned check subject to $20 NSF fee. Checks returned
twice will no longer be accepted. You will be required to pay with
a money order on future orders.
GUARANTEE: BE ADVISED BEFORE YOU ORDER -DOA animals
will be REPLACED ONLY on next order, animal for animal; DOA animals
will not be shipped separately as replacements, refund checks are
NOT issued. NO OTHER GUARANTEE IS IMPLIED OR INTENDED. Live arrival
guarantee is provided when your temperatures are not below 20 degrees
day or night or over 95. Boxes are heat or cold packed depending
on the weather. Doa Animals must be frozen until further notice.
Guarantee For Walk-Ins? Any animals hand-selected and/or picked-up
at Cal Zoo have no guarantee once they leave our shop.
INTERNATIONAL

We ship from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the airline
of your choice to your major port of entry airport, freight collect.
Some airlines to Asia require pre-paid freight only.
We can fax you an updated list anytime. Call, fax or email your request.

If you have more than one location we can pack the order for each
location separately. Each interior container will be labeled with
each store's name, packed in the same boxes as one shipment. Terms
can be discussed after initial first order.
All dry goods (non-live products) must be shipped with reptile order
& cannot be used towards minimum. All invoices will have scientific
names. If you need a pro-forma invoice so you can see scientific names
please fax your tentative order and we will fax you back the pro forma
invoice.

FEES
Fish and Wildlife export fee is $125 per shipment.
C.I.T.E.S. permits are $55 per order and take 7-10 days to obtain.
No permits are applied for until payment is received. We do not hold
non-C.I.T.E.S. animals, so please orders C.I.T.E.S. animals first
and when permit is issued we will fax a new in-stock list at which
time the non-C.I.T.E.S. animals can be ordered and then shipped immediately.
We will provide you with all the correct paper work. We do not provide
health certificates unless requested.
Veterinarian charge is $125 for the appointment and health certificate.
Box charge is $10 per large wax coated, Styrofoam insulated box. Dimensions
are 31" x 16" x 9".
GUARANTEE
We guarantee live arrival provided temperatures in transit do not
fall below 25°f or rise over 90°f. Heat packs are used in the winter
and cold packs in the summer.
Animals are 100% A-Grade unless noted. We do not ship any animals
you cannot sell immediately.
